ACTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A woman was flown to the hospital with a serious head injury after getting hit by a car in Acton Wednesday.
According to police both the driver of the van and witnesses said the woman was near a crosswalk then ran directly at the van.
The impact sent her up onto the hood then on to the pavement.
Police are still investigating.
