Worcester Police responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 400 Park Avenue for a report of an armed robbery on Wednesday around 5:30 a.m.

A CVS employee said a male approached his counter and displayed a note to him saying he had a gun and wanted a specific amount of Percocet pills, though no weapon was ever seen.

The employee complied and the suspect left the store. He was last seen heading toward Winfield Street.

The suspect was described as approximately 5’6” to 5’7”, 150 pounds, Asian male, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

This is the third robbery of a CVS in the past month. The other two occurred on September, 4 at 500 Grafton Street and on September 19 at 115 Stafford Street.

No injuries were reported during these events.

Investigators believe that the three robberies are connected.

The suspect description and the circumstances appear similar.
