A Kansas City couple managed to have their wedding in South Carolina over the weekend despite record-setting flooding.
The couple was afraid all their plans would have to be canceled after their officiant and photographer backed out and many guests were unable to make it because of the weather.
A local TV news station and several local residents stepped in to help. A Charleston city councilman married the couple and a photographer was found through Twitter.
A reception was still held with a donated DJ and food.
