BOSTON (WHDH) - The TSA at Logan Airport has a new passenger-screening dog, a black lab named Jazz.

Jazz is different than other bomb-sniffing dogs found at airports because she has been trained to detective explosives concealed on people or in their carry-on bags.

The dog’s trainer said it took four-five months to train the lab, a breed he said is good for bomb-sniffing because they are smart and trainable.

Labs are also sociable, which is important because TSA dogs work in busy airports with large crowds of people.
