Middle school students in Londonderry, New Hampshire are upset their cafeteria replaced corn dogs with pierogies.

The seventh-grade students started a petition to bring corn dogs back to the school’s lunch menu after the director of dining services at the school swapped them out for what she believed was a healthier option – pierogies.

The students described the change as “horrible,” and say the school was wasting the pierogies.

The students so far have gathered 129 signatures.

After meeting with the director of dining services, the students agreed to accept mozzarella sticks on the lunch menu.

The corn dogs are not back on the menu, but students say they are happy with the results of their efforts.
