The fantastic weather we’ve had the last couple of days spills over into the start of this weekend as a cool and crisp start to the day yields to a mostly sunny and warm afternoon. It’ll be just about perfect for any outdoor activity you have planed from the golf course to the beach to some country music out at Gillette. From just gettin’ started, to tonight looks good on you it’ll be dry and comfy in Foxborough with afternoon temps peaking in the mid 80s, then falling back to the lower 70s just after sunset.
Low humidity sticks around tonight as temps dip back into the 50s and 60s again. A fire pit, all fired up, while taking a look at the full sturgeon moon doesn’t sound like a bad evening plan does it?
Sunday will feature a few more clouds mixing in with the sun, a bit more humidity and a bit warmer of an afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s. I can’t rule out a brief, isolated shower, but only about 10% of us catch one. Bottom line, expect most of the area to be dry.
Temps warm to 90 on Monday as August ends with some heat.
A backdoor cool front may allow Tuesday close in on seasonal levels as winds turn onshore. Highs Tuesday likely range from the 70s at the coast to mid 80s inland.
Winds turn back to the west Wednesday and the 90 degree weather comes sliding right back in.
I don’t have much rain chances in the forecast, although there may be a passing showers/storm Thursday or Thursday night as a cool front comes on through.
Overall, the pattern features mainly dry and relatively warm weather through at least the first week of September.
Enjoy the weekend!
