BOSTON (WHDH) — Crews were called to repair a piece of concrete dangling from a building in Boston.

A crane removed an eight foot piece of facade from above Boston Beer Works near Fenway Park.

It had been hanging for several hours before it was removed.

The concrete piece shut down traffic on Brookline Avenue for a few hours while police cleared the scene and repair crews came in.

The work took place on a day where tens of thousands were on the streets around Fenway for a Red Sox home game.

No one was injured.
