The Boston Bruins got a little extra encouragement during the pregame warmup on Tuesday.
A young fan, Liam Fitzgerald, fist bumped the players after their warmup, which was captured in a video that has since gone viral on YouTube.
Fitzgerald is no stranger to the team. He got to meet some of the players back in February after a photo of him dressed as Adam McQuaid went viral. He has Down syndrome and battled leukemia and became an inspiration to the players.
Later, Fitzgerald was voted Fan of the Game and blew kisses to the crowd.
At the time of this writing, the video has over 100,000 views.
The Bruins went on to win 2-1 in overtime against the Florida Panthers, so maybe that fist bump gave them a little extra luck.
