LYNNFIELD, MASS. (WHDH) - Officials in Lynnfield are proposing new restrictions on short-term renting for services like Airbnb.
The proposal comes after a murder that took place at a party in a rented mansion back in June.
Officials say the new proposals would prohibit short-term rentals without a permit.
Lynnfield residents will vote on the new proposals at a town meeting in two weeks.
