Busy days lately….yard work, Pats game, family in town visiting, carving pumpkins, picking apples….and weekends just waaaaay toooo short for all this. Thankfully, upon arriving at work around 3:30am, the weather maps are quiet. High Pressure is with us the next two days so plan on mostly-partly sunny skies today & tomorrow. That area of High Pressure has come from Canada so the temps will be chilly but winds will be light. I’ll take it.

By Wednesday, a rather potent storm heads this way (with some of the remnants from Hurricane Patricia infused into the storm) with clouds then afternoon rain. That rain is with us much of Wednesday afternoon & night. Plan on a slow evening commute Wednesday with the rain & even some wind. Wind gusts over 20mph are likely with the rain. In terms of rain, most towns pick up 1" of beneficial rain while some towns may pick up a little more. Due to leaves down…there may be some localized street flooding Wednesday evening.

This storm is flying so the Thursday morning commute will feature leftover puddles but no rain…just a bunch of clouds. Even those clouds will peel out of here by afternoon setting the stage for a bright & windy Thursday afternoon. Warm too with temps near 70! Breezy, mild & dry for the Pats-Dolphins game Thursday evening.

Cool, dry weather returns for Friday as well as Halloween.

Good luck with the Mondays!
