Acadia National Park’s Bass Harbor Head Light is featured on a U.S. Postal Service stamp celebrating the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary.

The stamp’s image depicts a photograph of the lighthouse taken by David Muench.

It’s one of 16 "forever" stamps to be revealed over a three week period.

The stamps will be shown at a ceremony on June 2 at World Stamp Show New York. More than a quarter-million people are expected to attend the event over an eight-day period.
