Malden Police are investigating after what is believed to be a dangerous encounter on Wednesday.
According to police, a white man wearing sunglasses and driving an older model grey sedan got into a fight with a teenager and the incident may have taken a violent turn.
Police said the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. They said there was a verbal exchange between the two people and at one point the driver reached out toward the student.
According to police, the student does not know the driver.
The student was not injured and was able to go to school.
An investigation is ongoing.
