ATTLEBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was arrested after police said he tried carjacking a woman in Attleboro on Wednesday.
It happened near a jewelry store on County Street.
The woman told police she was putting her 2-year-old child in her car when Andrew Dowhan tried to grab the door handle and get inside. She said she locked herself in the backseat and called police.
Police said when they arrived, they found Downhan trying to get into another unoccupied car. He was arrested and charged with attempted carjacking and disturbing the peace.
