MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in Manchester, N.H., say an 18-year-old man went into a convenience store seeking a job — and left with two bottles of champagne without paying.
Police said it wasn't difficult to track down Chandra Gajmer because he filled out a job application at the 7-Eleven at the back of the store Tuesday before allegedly taking off with the champagne while the clerk was helping another customer.
Officers arrested him at his nearby home, where they also found the champagne. He was charged with theft and illegal possession of alcohol.
Gajmer was also charged with criminal trespass related to an incident at the same store last week, when police say they banned him from the store at the manager's request. It was not immediately known whether Gajmer has a lawyer.
