An Attleboro man was arrested on multiple charges after he crashed into a police cruiser in Newburyport early Sunday morning.

The driver, Jeremiah Garret-Levine, 28, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and failing to yield at an intersection.

The injured police sergeant was taken to the hospital.

He was treated and released.

Garrett-Levine will be arraigned on Monday.
