MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - A car struck an ambulance early Sunday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire.
According to Lieutenant Andrew R. Vincent of the Manchester Police Department, the ambulance wasn’t conducting a transport when the crash happened.
Two men fled from the scene on foot without identifying themselves.
The registered owner of the car arrived at the scene shortly after police and identified the driver at the time of the crash as her boyfriend, Manuel Albeno Castellanos.
Officers went to the woman’s house and arrested Castellanos.
He was taken into custody for conduct after an accident and was also charged with operating without a valid license.
The ambulance crew members sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Elliot Hospital for treatment.
