WESTPORT, Conn. (AP) — Police say a Connecticut man is charged with the sexual assault of an Uber driver.

The Connecticut Post reports 21-year-old Jason Karlen allegedly made sexually explicit comments and groped an Uber driver in Westport.

Officers responded to an armed robbery of a driver Wednesday at a gas station. The driver said he had been sexually assaulted by a passenger he picked up at Green Farms train station.

The driver reported to police that the suspect had exposed himself, and then fled on foot.

Officers arrested Karlen at his home and charged him with fourth-degree sexual assault and public indecency. His bond was set at $10,000 and court date is July 25. An attorney for Karlen could not be immediately identified.
