HYANNIS, Mass. (WHDH) — Police on Cape Cod have arrested a man in connection with several arson cases.
Four homes in the same Hyannis neighborhood were broken into and set on fire in April
Police say that after his arrest, Matthew Pungitore confessed to breaking into two of the homes.
A detective said Pungitore was homeless at the time and turned on the stoves to keep warm causing the fires.
