Pawtucket, Rhode Island (NBC) — A Rhode Island man was critically injured while driving at high speeds and streaming live on Facebook.
According to State Police, the 20-year-old reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour Wednesday morning, weaving in and out of traffic, blasting his music and using a lot of profanities.
The three minute live stream has since been removed from the driver’s Facebook page.
He lost control of the car, hit a dump truck and crashed into a barrier.
He remains in critical condition.
No one else was injured in the crash and there is no word on what charges the driver may face.
