FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - An Everett man was charged with reckless operation after he allegedly hit a Massachusetts State Trooper with his motorcycle outside Gillette Stadium Sunday afternoon after the Patriots game.
Jose Perez-Rodriguez, 25, was released from Beth Israel Deaconess Sunday night and booked at the Foxboro Barracks on charges related to reckless operation.
Officers initially attempted to stop Perez-Rodriguez for erratic operation of the motorcycle.
Rodriguez refused to stop for troopers and fled, driving south in the northbound lane before striking the MSP captain who tried to stop him.
His bail was set at $5,040 and he is expected to be arraigned Monday in Wrentham District Court.
The trooper suffered serious facial injuries, but is expected to be okay.
