AUBURN, MASS. (WHDH) - An Auburn father was charged after police said he put on a clown mask and got in his car to follow a school bus full of students.
Police said the man followed the school bus from Auburn Middle School and then drove after a group of students at a bus stop. The children were so terrified of him they ran and hid under a nearby deck, according to police.
“I was pretty freaked out, a lot of my friends are really scared now,” said Matthew Cook, a student at Auburn Middle School.
Police said it turns out the man was the father of one of the children on the bus. Parents said they did not find the incident funny.
“I don’t know what this dad was thinking, unfortunately,” said parent Darcy Cook.
