A Dorchester man is in court today after being accused of dragging police officers down the street with his car.
34-year-old Vincent Weaks faced a judge today.
He faces several charges including assault and battery.
Police say they were responding to a call of a man with a gun in Dorchester Wednesday and approached Weak’s car.
That is when they say he took off, dragging two officers.
His family say they have the wrong guy.
Those two officers and two others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Weaks is being held on bail.
