HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police say a man driving a stolen motorcycle has died in a fiery crash in Connecticut.
Authorities say the crash involving the motorcycle and a car happened in Hartford around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. A fire broke out in the motorcycle and spread to the car before it was extinguished with the help of nearby residents.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have identified the man as 27-year-old Brian Morales, of Hartford.
The motorcycle was reported stolen to New York City police on Tuesday.
Police say Morales had a suspended license, and he was not wearing a helmet.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
