REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - A Lynn man pleaded not guilty to charges that he hit a state trooper with his motorcycle while under the influence.
Danilo Diroche was arraigned from his hospital bed. He pleaded not guilty to charges including drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police said Diroche was drunk when he struck a state trooper with his motorcycle at Revere Beach over the weekend. The trooper was seriously injured but has been released from the hospital.
Diroche is being held on bail and will be back in court next month.
