BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Five dogs are back in Brockton after being ditched by a carjacker 100 miles from home.
The dogs’ owner, George, called police after someone stole his van with the dogs in the backseat.
He said he left his van running for a few moments while he ran inside a mechanic shop in Brockton, when he returned his van was gone.
Police found the van in Maine on Monday night.
The dogs were reunited with the owner
The investigation is ongoing as to who stole the car.
The owner of the car says he is just glad to have his dogs back at home.
