Man to break world record for ringing Salvation Army bell

Biloxi, Mississippi (WHDH) — A record breaking dedication for donations.

Jamie Richardson from Mississippi is attempting to break the world record of ringing the Salvation Army bell, for over 150 consecutive hours.

He is ringing the bell for the red kettle campaign.

He has been ringing outside of a Walmart Super Center since midnight on Monday.

And if he keeps going he will break the record Sunday at 8 a.m.
