DARTMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - A man who is wanted in Alabama was arrested in Dartmouth on Thursday.
George Bryan Smelcer, 44 of Panama City, Florida, was arrested on outstanding warrants associated with sex and drug crimes out of Alabama.
At the time, Smelcer was staying at the Moby Dick Motel located on State Road.
Smelcer was charged in Massachusetts with being a fugitive from justice and will be arraigned Thursday afternoon at New Bedford District Court.
