WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts man who pleaded guilty to distributing child porn and reportedly told an undercover investigator he likes to have “fun” with his girlfriend’s 5-year-old daughter has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Randy Chaplis emailed child porn to the undercover agent during the investigation last year. Some of the images showed men having sex with prepubescent girls. They say the Boylston man later told the investigator that he likes girls ages 3 through 10.

Chaplis was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Worcester. His public defender had asked for a 5-year sentence, saying Chaplis had cognitive issues and had been the victim of bullying.
