Mansfield police are investigating an early morning crash on Route 106.
According to police, a man was ejected from a 1996 Ford and suffered multiple injuries after crashing into a bridge abutment around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The 25-year-old was taken to by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital with serious injuries after he was ejected from the car.
Initial reports said the car crashed after it was pursued by police for traveling around 100 miles per hour. The driver will likely face charges.
The scene has since been cleared. It took two flatbed trucks to remove the wreckage.
