A fisherman off the coast of Hawaii was speared by a giant marlin he captured.
Russell Ching says he and several friends were moving the marlin when it slid out of their hands and speared him in the leg.
Ching, who said he was two hours from shore, said he feared bleeding out.
"First, the shock set in and then it felt like somebody kicked me in the shin and that’s what it felt like the whole time," Ching said.
Ching is recovering and said he will likely keep the marlin’s tip as a keepsake.
