With the kids heading back to school Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was at Winthrop Elementary School in Dorchester Thursday morning meeting with students and teachers even taking a few pictures.
Mayor Walsh made sure to take time to thank the teachers for all of their hard work.
“I just wanted to come by and thank all the teachers for all the great work they do and the great work they do for the city. I just wanted to thank all of you all the students here,” he said.
Mayor Walsh also told students to make sure to listen to their teachers and do all of their homework.
