TEMPLETON, Mass. (WHDH) — Two people have died after a car crash in Templeton on Saturday morning.
Around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, State Police responded to a report of a crash on Route 2 in Templeton at the Otter River Road overpass.
One car was traveling on Route 2 eastbound, when it went off the left side of the road and struck a bridge abutment at the overpass.
The car rolled over and was then engulfed in flames.
There were two women in the car and they were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the woman are being withheld until family can be notified.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
