The Maynard firefighter who was accused of raping a child has died.
Police said 59-year-old Jame MacGillivary was found unresponsive in his home on Tuesday night. He later died at the hospital.
MacGillivary was arrested last month and was charged with raping a 9-year-old boy in 1991.
According to police, his death doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
