The MBTA says it found a design flaw that likely caused some of the troubles with the new Orange Line trains.

The T says faulty materials could explain why several new cars experienced power cable problems.

All new Orange Line cars had to be pulled from the tracks last month. The cars have since been inspected and all but four are back in service.
