MBTA transit police are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman who allegedly walked away after picking up a lost wallet.
On Feb. 20 around 3 p.m., a woman was caught on surveillance video picking up a lost wallet that contained approximately $400 at the JFK/UMass Station.
The owner of the wallet returned moments later and the woman did not acknowledge them.
The woman is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, with short blonde hair and glasses. She was wearing combat style boots, blue jeans, a leather jacket, blue scarf, headphones and a light blue backpack.
