Kingston, N.H. (WHDH) — A memorial service for the mother of Newtown, Connecticut shooter Adam Lanza will be held on June first.
The service will be held at the First Congregational Church in Kingston, New Hampshire where Lanza grew up and lived for many years before moving to Connecticut.
Officials say Lanza was shot and killed by her son before he went on a shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
In December, Adam Lanza gunned down 20 children and six adults before taking his own life.
It’s the second deadliest school massacre in the country.
