RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire school district superintendent says a middle school student will be disciplined for posting a threat on social media.

Raymond School District Superintendent Tina McCoy said school leaders were made aware of the threat early Wednesday. It was posted to Instagram on Tuesday night by a male student at the Iber Holmes Gove Middle School. Officials coordinated with Raymond police on an investigation.

McCoy said there is no danger to the school community. She said the student will be disciplined in accordance with the district’s code of conduct.

The school day continued without interruption Wednesday.
