DRACUT, MASS. (WHDH) - Officials say a Dracut woman who had been missing since Sunday has been found safe.

According to Representative Colleen Garry, Kathryn Lussier was found Wednesday at around noon.

She was located in the woods behind homes on Pleasant Street. A firefighter and his wife, who is an EMS nurse, were told she was carrying a white china bowl. The firefighter saw the bowl on the side of a treeline and decided to go into the woods to look for her.

Lussier, 75, has been taken to the hospital for precautions.

Representative Garry said the search party is celebrating with pizza following the successful effort.
