UPDATED 8:30 p.m.: State Police have found Thomas Woods safely in Connecticut. The Amber Alert from earlier has been canceled.

NORTH BROOKFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) — State Police have authorized an Amber Alert for 21-month-old Thomas Woods who has been missing since 5 p.m. Monday.

Thomas was last seen with his father Ryan Woods.

Thomas is described as a white male approximately 2’6’ tall, weighing 30 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue sweatpants, a blue and green striped shirt and white socks. Thomas has a scar on his upper lip.

Ryan is described as a white male approximately 5’9” tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue denim jeans and white sneakers.

Police believe Ryan is driving a tan/brown 2005 Volvo V70 station wagon, with Massachusetts license plate 875CT5.

According to authorities Ryan was scheduled to have child visitation on Monday.

When Ryan did not bring Thomas home at 5 p.m. as scheduled the boy’s mother reported him missing to authorities.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ryan Woods on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment of a child.

Official say the toddler did have any winter boots or clothes.
