A neuroscientist at MIT says he has made a major breakthrough in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
He discovered memories of people with the disease that were lost, can potentially be restored.
He says this gives researchers a new approach in trying to treat the disease.
The study included using light to control and activate memory cells in mice.
