A quick glance at the 7 day forecast and it’s cringe worthy.  However, the initial bark’s a bit worse than the bite.  While I can’t rule out a couple of showers on any given day, there will be dry hours through the week.  So while we have the shower chance lingering around… through the next 7 days, overall rain totals come in around 1-2" for most towns for the ENTIRE WEEK.  Stretched over a week, that not overly impressive and probably more beneficial for the flower beds and lawns.  Temps all week are above freezing at night too, so if you catch some dry hours to do some planting, go for it!  No frost issues this week!

Showers are most widespread today around midday (11am-2pm) and tomorrow it’s in the morning.  Tomorrow’s showers are mostly across Southeast Mass. Showers Wednesday are scattered and isolated Thursday.  A few more scattered showers run in here Friday.  Winds are east to northeast through much of the week, and that means a lot of temps in the 50s. Although a few low 60s sneak in across interior locations on occasion.

The weekend starts to show some improvements with temps near 70 inland on Mother’s Day (60 at the coast).  Yes, there may be a passing afternoon shower for mom, but overall the trend starts to improve.

Stay dry peeps and have a good day!
