BOSTON (WHDH) - Massachusetts lawmakers who are trying to close the gender pay gap are winning over at least one former opponent in the business world.

House leaders pushed legislation Tuesday that would require companies to pay women the same amount as men for comparable work.

The Associated Industries of Massachusetts said it now supports the bill.
