BOSTON (WHDH) - Tuesday the puppy is still recovering after being rescued in East Boston but hospital staff at the MSPCA Angell Medical Center say he is going to make it.

“Great news! This little guy is expected to make it! Tuesday feels much better, but he’s still got some healing and growing to do before he’ll be ready for adoption,” the organization wrote in a post on Facebook. “He’s still too young to be adopted and even though we’re past that critical period in his healing, he still needs some additional treatment.”

“Many people have already expressed interest in adopting Tuesday. We’ll announce here and on our other social platforms how people can officially apply to take him home when he’s ready for adoption. In the meantime, we are in major need of dog fosters. If you are interested in learning more about our foster program and applying to be a part of our foster network, visit mspca.org/foster
