The powerful storms that rolled through many towns yesterday were out ahead of a cold front.  That front is now off to the east of us, allowing lower humidity and cooler temperatures to settle on in for the second half of the weekend.

After hitting 92 yesterday, we’ll hold in the mid 70s in the city of Boston today, typical for early September and what you’d expect when you think of baseball at Fenway Park on a September afternoon, and of course football weather too as we’ve sent that humidity back to Miami with the Pats.

It’s back to A/C off, windows open, weather this evening as temps slide back through the 60s and into the upper 50s in Boston and mid to upper 40s in the suburbs.

Prevailing winds the next few days are onshore, holding temps near 70 in the afternoon Monday-Wednesday.  We’ve have more clouds than sun Tuesday and Wednesday and we’ll keep an eye to our southeast.  There will be a couple waves of low pressure that develop along the front offshore, but as of now, the bulk of the rain stays offshore.  A few showers may sneak into Southeast Mass Tuesday, but the rain looks to be limited.

Enjoy your Sunday and Go Pats!!!
