BOSTON (WHDH) - One driver was treated for minor injuries after a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Boston Tuesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police said the crash happened on the Riverway parkway around 7:30 a.m., with troopers arriving to find both a Boston Public Schools bus and a Toyota Camry sedan with damage.
Three other parked, unoccupied vehicles were also damaged.
According to an MSP spokesperson, the crash left a passenger in the Camry, a 51-year-old woman from Brockton, with minor injuries.
Two students, ages 15 and 17, and the school bus driver were evaluated and cleared, while the driver of the Camry, a 65-year-old Taunton man, was uninjured, officials said.
Speaking with 7NEWS, a Lyft driver described how the school bus rear-ended his car while he was sitting in traffic.
He said the bus then quickly veered off to the right, crashing into a parked Tesla, which was then pinned between a tree and the bus.
The owner of the Tesla told reporters he found out about the wreck after receiving a alert on his phone from his car.
“I’m like, ‘what do I do with this,’ right?” the driver said, motioning at where his car was pinned. “I have to do a lot of paperwork and the rest of this stuff, so we’ll see.”
