BOSTON (WHDH) - The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Boston is hosting the first of several mural pop-ups starting Monday.
During these pop-ups, community members can add to two paintings made by teenagers from Artists for Humanity ahead of MLK Day.
The paintings were inspired by the “Embrace,” monument, a new Boston Common statue that is currently under construction.
The monument, set to be unveiled on January 13, symbolizes the hug MLK shared with his wife Coretta Scott King after he won the Nobel Peace Prize.
