A hot-air balloon in the shape of a pig descended quickly following a midair collision with another balloon Thursday morning during a festival in Provo, Utah.
The collision happened when the balloon crashed into the basket of a cowboy-themed balloon above it at 1,200 feet in the air, resulting in a 12-foot hole in the pig balloon.
The pilot was the only person in the balloon and sustained minor injuries.
No one in the cowboy balloon was injured and it kept flying with the other balloons.
Balloon fest officials said it was the first midair collision in its 31-year history.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
