Ben and Jerry have come up with a new ice cream flavor in an attempt to encourage people to vote.
The Vermont-based ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s kicked off a campaign to increase voter registration and participation with a flavor called “Empower-mint.”
Co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield joined members of the North Carolina NAACP on Tuesday to launch a national voter campaign and show off the new ice cream flavor.
Ben & Jerry’s shops across the country will roll out the flavor and plan to install voter registration kiosks in their stores as part of the campaign.
