Naples, Italy, is churning out and selling millions of sweet treats for the Easter holiday.

Professional decorators are creating chocolate Easter eggs, and some of them are painted by hand with gold and silver. 

Last year, 31 million chocolate eggs were sold in the country.

Some 1.5 million chocolate eggs were sold in Naples last year. 

In Christianity, Easter eggs are a symbol of new life and of the resurrection of Jesus.
