Manchester police have taken a man into custody who was allegedly involved in a stabbing.
Shane Rodney Velez of Nashua was located and arrested following an incident on Old Granite St. Police on an unrelated call were drawn to a fight outside a club, where they came across a victim who was the victim of multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Elliot Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, multiple people were involved in the fight, many of whom knew each other.
After compiling witness statements, police located Velez and took him into custody. Velez will appear in court on Monday and will be charged with first-degree assault and falsifying physical evidence.
